Yeeeeaaah Maaaaan! Proppa Swine flu!!! PART ONE

YO!!! Respect n blessings my place people, my crew, my dawgs, my Big Chill homies!!……. okay you get the ‘jist’…  The BIG CHILL festival was very, very BIG!!!… fully enjoyed myself.. and feel inspired.  Come follow me, follow me, follow me let me explain my trip…..lol

To be honest I was not looking forward to going… reasons being:

• Personal issues

• Fear of camping

• Fear of my piece being rubbish compared to the other artist

• Looked at the line up of the Words in Motion tent.. and thought…. WOAH!!

• Not being able to learn 13 pages of work in a couple of days

• And about 20 other mad things not worth mentioning

I ended up phoning Naomi.. and basically saying 2 cut a long story short…… (and not in the exact same words……..) I said I’m f*@ked!! help me… (while in my mind searching for a way out!!!….) Seriously! she did a great job of putting my mind at ease as well as a call to my mentor Angie ‘calm voice’ Bual… who both got me back on the saddle.. lol THANKS n ‘respect in every aspect’.

My insecurities as an artist seem to go ‘nuts’.. just before big events or performances that I really care about!!! does this happen to anyone else?…. or am I weird? or am i insecure about asking a question about insecurities… ummm answers on a postcode please….lol

Anyway.. I ended up going to the camping shop with a list (expertly supplied by Naomi ‘the tent architect’ Wilde) the shopkeeper seen me coming……. madness!!! Spent a good amount on camping equipment (didn’t even get a tent with my money thanks for the loan of the tent Gerry ‘the tent loaner’ collinge). But you know I say it’s better to be over prepared.. than under!!

So anyway… with Ready bed in hand… (Don’t know about the Ready bed people?…. you better ask somebody?) a travel bag and ruksack I ‘rolled’ out train journey left Derby onto Birmingham couple other places then  stopping at Shrewsbury. From there a 40min car drive to that place we have all been before the ‘middle of no where’

ANY WAY PEOPLE THAT’S IT FROM ME FOR NOW…. LOL  CATCH PART TWO LATER THIS WEEK.. THE TITLE WILL BE EXPLAINED…. AND ALSO RUKADIARY BIG CHILL SPECIAL!!
