Two places are better than

There’s something distinctly liminal about Byron’s choice of place. It made me think of a line from Roy Fisher’s City. Tilt your head over to the right to see what I mean.

Denise Levertov said of Fisher’s City “he is not painting its portrait but exploring its moral significance, and through it, himself (And through himself, all men).”

From our first conversation Byron’s opinions around the differing moralities of these locations will certainly make interesting reading soon enough.

But for now I wonder how the different ideas around liminality might offer new perspectives to Byron’s exploration, here’s a quick link to wikipedia that made me begin to think.
