Looking back at the Apples & Snakes archive, I noticed this recording of Emma performing a poem inspired by her work at a homeless hostel, at Apples & Snakes in Soho November 2007:

This is a little slide show I put together using pics from the hostels i’ve been visting and a recording one of the residents on the guitar. It’s forst attempt and it’s taken a while for me to get it here, but with Jen’s help I’ve succeeded. The next one will be more structured, I promise, but I quite like the harsh, stark jumpyness of this.
